Clubs lining up to take Arsenal youngster on loan for next season

Clubs are lining up to take Arsenal teenager Emile Smith Rowe on loan next season with at least two German clubs, one Spanish club and a whole host of Premier League and Championship teams reported to be interested in the youngster.

RB Leipzig, who loaned Smith-Rowe last January and Wolfsburg are the front runners along with an unnamed La Liga side.

All three are said to be waiting on a decision being finalised as soon as the 18-year old has recovered from injury.

The Independent is also reporting that there are a number of Premier League and Championship clubs also monitoring the situation.

The versatile midfielder is considered one of Arsenal’s brightest young prospects and a further season on loan with regular playing time will aid is development significantly and it is considered a certainty that he will be playing elsewhere next season.

The youngster showed his immense potential in the 2017/18 Arsenal pre-season tour to Singapore and followed that up with a couple of impressive Europa League performances but because he was unlikely to see too much senior action the decision was taken to loan him out last January.

Unfortunately, his tenure with Leipzig, having played less than 30 minutes, was short-lived due to injury.
