Confirmed Arsenal target set for Juventus exit talks

Mario Lemina has revealed he is set for talks with Juventus as he looks to secure more regular action ahead of the new campaign, with Arsenal keen.

The French midfielder, who has been likened to Manchester United’s record signing Paul Pogba, has admitted to be being flattered by the interest shown in him by the Gunners, and is now ready to talk to his current club about his future.

“I think before pre-season, we’ll have a discussion about that,” said Lemina, when asked whether he will be leaving.

“We’re going to talk to each other. We’re going to see what they really want to do with me and what I want to do in terms of how much playing time I’ll get.

“We’re going to put everything on the table and speak about it calmly.

“I learn alongside these players every day. We really have a well-stocked midfield with great names like Khedira, Pjanic and Marchisio.

“I learn a lot, I gain a lot of experience. But it’s true that next year, I have to play a lot more to be able to make a name for myself like they have.”

This also comes in the wake of Arsenal supposedly contacting the Italian giants over a deal to sign the 23 year-old.

There is currently question marks over the futures of both Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Aaron Ramsey, who both have one year remaining on their current contracts, and we could well be looking to firm up our options in midfield, having struggled in the centre of the park for much of the campaign, and with Santi Cazorla’s injuries leaving us lacking something special in midfield.

Would Lemina be a good signing? Could he take some of the slack off Cazorla?
