CONFIRMED Arsenal XI for West Ham Carabao Cup clash

Arsene Wenger has already let the Arsenal fans know that he is not making this quarter-final Carabao Cup clash against West Ham any more of a priority than he normally does, and is planning to play a mixture of youth and fringe players even though this competition is probably our best chance of a trophy this season.

The good news for us Gooners is that David Moyes has a weakened squad to choose from as well and after an intense run of games is likely to rest a few key players also, so with Arsenal having a deeper and strobnger squad there is a good chance that our weakened team will be good enough to get through.

Ospina
Debuchy, Chambers, Holding, Kolasinac
Coquelin, Elneny, Willock
Walcott, Giroud, Welbeck

Subs: Macey, Sheaf, DaSilva, Reine-Adelaide, Nelson, Akpom, Nketiah

To be fair to the boss, I reckon this is a pretty strong side and with a crucial Premier League game against Liverpool coming in just a few days he has little choice but to rotate. Lanzini’s ban for simulation on top of quite a few injury problems foe West Ham surely makes Arsenal strong favourites.

As long as the senior players like Giroud and Walcott do their bit this should be a win for Arsenal and a place in the semi-final. COYG!
