Should Arsenal raid Emery’s old club for top midfielder?

There have been many transfer rumours linking Arsenal with midfielders as we are expecting Jack Wilshere to be moving on and are still waiting for Aaron Ramsey to begin talks with the club on a contract extension, so it is likely we are going to need reinforcements in that area.

One of the best available at the moment is PSG’s Adrien Rabiot, who is also entering the last year of his contract at Unai Emery’s old club and may be looking for a new challenge according to Talksport, who said: Napoli, Arsenal, Juventus AND Tottenham Hotspur interested in Paris Saint-Germain star Adrien Rabiot.

Rabiot is only 23 but having won everything in France in his 8 years at PSG, including 4 League titles, 4 Coup de France’s and 5 Coup de Ligue’s he will surely be prepared to join his old boss in the Premier League. The only sticking point would be what sort of transfer fee the moneybags from PSG would want, but if they price him out of a move they would risk losing him for free next summer.

Rabiot has been linked with Arsenal many times in the past, but could Emery’s influence finally persuade him to come to the Emirates?
