Could Arsenal succeed in luring perfect Cech partner from Chelsea?

Chelsea are supposedly looking to replace Christophe Lollichon this summer, opening the door for Arsenal to make a move.

The Blues new boss Antonio Conte is believed to be eyeing a move to bring Gianluca Spinelli to Stamford Bridge, which could spell the end for the French goalkeeping coach’s stay in West London.

Lollichon moved to Chelsea along with Cech from Rennes back in 2004, and the partnership appeared to thrive over a number of years, and the pair could be set to reunited in North-London this summer.

The Czech international set a number of records under the guidance of the coach, and their working relationship has always been an admired one.

Current Chelsea number one Thibaut Courtois is not believed to have the same relationship with the French coach, and is even reported to have had a falling out in recent months, which led to initial reports of a possible switch across London.

Lollichon could now be set to join up with Gerry Peyton, who has been a long-standing servent to the club for over 10 years.

Which other goalkeepers will remain in the squad for the new season is unknown currently however, with both David Ospina and Wojciech Szczesny linked with the exit door.

Guy Smit could also be set to join up with the team, with the 20 year-old having joined a two-week trial, as he looks to secure a free transfer move from NEC Nijmegen. What role he would be given if he was to impress Arsene Wenger is unknown.

How much better could Cech be this season with his favoured coach partner alongside him?
