Could Lucas Perez return to Arsenal after PL loan deal?

Lucas Perez is expected to move out on loan today, but could he return and play for Arsenal next season?

The Spaniard had a hard time last season, struggling to break into Arsene Wenger’s first-team plans despite impressing when featuring.

Perez now looks set on the exit door, in hope of retaining a place in the Spain international squad for next summer’s World Cup, and his preference is known to be a return to his home country.

A deal is yet to be struck with any side however, but both Everton and Newcastle United appear keen on a temporary deal for the forward.

The Blues have had interest shown in Kevin Mirallas this week, and could possibly looking for cover for his exit, and Lucas would fit in well at Goodison Park in my opinion.

Should a deal fail to be agreed prior to the 11PM deadline, then the Spanish transfer window remains open until tomorrow, and a deal would likely be struck for a move back to Spain as he intended.

A Premier League deal may not be best for his intentions to break back into the Spain international squad, but could well give him a better chance of playing for Arsenal again in the future.

The Gunners know that the forward didn’t get a fair shout in the first-team in his tough opening season, but should he enjoy life in the Premier League this term, he could well return to the Emirates next season.

Should Arsenal push for a Premier League stay for Lucas? Does he deserve another chance at our club?
