CSKA Moscow v Arsenal – Tickets just £13.50 but…..

If there are any Arsenal fans brave enough to travel to Moscow for the second leg of our Europa League quarter final against CSKA will be very pleased to know that the tickets are available for just £13.50, but the punchline is that the price of a visa is a massive £108.40 and then you have to factor in the price of a flight which is available right now for about £220 which is not too bad considering the distance. And you would have to pre-book a hotel for your stay.

Arsenal only have 1,000 tickets allocated so far, but it would be amazing if they all get sold out especially as the game is expected to be played in sub zero temperatures, and with the recent tensions between the UK and Russia, the Home Office is advising caution which was passed on to the fans by Arsenal.

But Russia’s World Cup organising committee chief, Alexis Sorokin, has assured Gooners that there will no danger to Arsenal fans. “It is a shame that the games will be played in such circumstance,” Sorokin said. “We will ensure security in equal measures to all — from dignitaries to fans.”

“To us, there is no difference which country people come from or what our diplomatic relations with them are,”

“There are absolutely no grounds for such warnings.”

I am sure there will be a hardcore group of Arsenal away fans who love to travel to the games whoever we are playing, but they can’t expect such a warm welcome as they got when they went to Ostersunds in Sweden!
