Do Arsenal still need another left-back this summer?

Arsenal have three senior options currently in the squad to play at left-back, but that has not stopped us being linked with adding more.

The Gunners played out last season using Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs at left-back, and following a switch to 3-4-2-1 which accommodated wing-backs, the aforementioned duo and even Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain played in the new role.

We agreed a deal to sign young left-back Cohen Bramall from the Northern Premier League in January, who has been likened to England international and Arsenal invincible Ashley Cole, but he is so far playing with our Under-23 side, and we have since signed Sead Kolasinac from Schalke on a free transfer, who is likely to be a first-team regular.

Kieran Gibbs looks likely to drop to third-choice following the arrival of the Serbian defender, and is being linked with the exit door at present, although Arsenal are currently holding out for £15 Million, a fee Watford are supposedly baulking at paying.

Despite a number of options for the role, we are being linked with a move to sign Celtic’s Kieran Tierney, who has been impressing for the Scottish champions after helping his side to go unbeaten all season. Manchester United are also credited with an interest in the 21 year-old and they probably have more need of him than we do, unless Wenger is thinking of selling both Gibbs AND Monreal, but I can’t really see that happening. Can you?
