That striker gives the Arsenal striker 29 international goals and puts him 7th on the all-time list for France, just one behind his boyhood hero Jean-Pierre Papin, whose tally of 30 Giroud was hoping to match as reported by Arsenal.com back in April when he had just reached 23.
