Does this mean Arsenal injury woes are OVER?

One little phrase used by Arsene Wenger in his Arsenal pre-match press conference yesterday could turn out to be one of the most significant short burst of words in the last few years for Arsenal fans, players, manager and the long term success of the club.

If you think I am exaggerating, you might be right. We will have to wait and see whether Wenger’s throwaway line suggesting that the medical staff have actually discovered the underlying reason for the fact that Aaron Ramsey’s injury problems keep coming back.

And if that is true and the Arsenal backroom staff know how to fix it, we could soon be seeing the likes of Rambo, Wilshere, Walcott, Arteta and many more Gunners actually managing to complete a whole season without missing a month here and a couple more there.

I don’t think we can over-estimate how much difference this could make to our next challenge for the Premier League title. If the reason for the re-ocurring injuries has been found that is. If not, then no matter how big a squad Arsenal have, we will always have periods when Wenger is having to shuffle the pack and use players out of position or rely on those not normally in the first team.

Just imagine if we had not lost Walcott, Ramsey, Ozil and others in the second half of last season. Would Arsenal be reigning EPL champions right now?
