Theo Walcott’s move to Everton from Arsenal has finally been confirmed, following on from confirmed reports about his medical this morning.
The winger joined the Gunners back in January 2006, and went onto clock-up 270 Premier League outings for our side, scoring 65 goals along the way.
The 28 year-old suffered with a number of injuries along the way, somewhat denying him the career he appeared destined for when smashing it onto the scene at Southampton, and was even a shock inclusion in the playing squad for England for the World Cup in 2006.
Walcott enjoyed one of his best campaigns in an Arsenal shirt last season, clocking up 19 goals in all competitions, but found himself predominantly benched this term with a new formation needing one less attacking players limiting him to less than 50 minutes of game time in the Premier League since the start of the new term.
The former Southampton youth product will now have the chance to hit the ground running for Everton, who are said to have completed his arrival for a £20 Million, and he should more than fit and fresh enough to get going straight away for his new team.
Walcott is claimed to have signed a deal which will see him earn £140,000-a-week following his completed medical today, and he will be available to make his debut for the Blues at home to West Brom this weekend.
