Well it was certainly a very eventful game at the Emirates but Arsenal got lucky with a dubious penalty four minutes into added time to seal the game. We went behind to a lucky goal from the Saints as Petr Cech got a hand to the excellent free kick but it came off the bar and hit his back before rolling into the net.
The Birthday boy Koscielny scored a brilliant bicycle kick to level it before half time and we were set up for a very tense second half when both teams had chances. It certainly looked like it was going to be points shared until Giroud through himself on the ground and got a penalty in the dying minutes.
Whether we were lucky or unlucky it is three massive points on the board and we are on our way back up the table. Now for the crucial trip to Paris….
