A certain Wesley Sneijder, the Dutch No.10 who plays for Galatasaray, used it as a reason to quell moving to Old Trafford and reunite with Van Gaal. Coming to Arsenal, however, Wenger deserves the plaudits for dragging the Gunners into the coveted competition for the 17th year in succession. However, the Frenchman needs to remake Arsenal into a winning team, and a team that wins trophies, if he is to attract top talent in future and hold on to the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
