It was certainly not the plan by Arsene Wenger for Arsenal to have to come from going a goal down to Swansea City yesterday, but you have to say that it was really the result that mattered and Arsenal did end up taking all three points.
That is becoming something of a pattern for the Gunners this season, and not just in the Premier League either. The last three games, incredibly enough, have seen the Gunners concede the first goal when we were expecting to dominate, but against Everton last weekend, then Norwich City in the midweek Carabao Cup clash and now Swansea, Arsenal have come back to win.
It happens, of course, but I am not sure I can remember it happening quite so often to Arsenal or any other team for that matter. Perhaps it was the tone set by our opening day fixture. Even though we scored first against Leicester City we then went behind and needed two late goals from Ramsey and Giroud to level and then win.
But although the Gunners also conceded first before beating cologne in the Europa League, the fact that we have done it in all three of our last matches does make me wonder whether the stinging comments about the players lacking cojones, made by Troy Deeney after Watford did their own comeback special on us, have galvanized the Gunners into not giving up.
Has Deeney actually helped Arsenal to become the comeback kings?
