Have Arsenal board and players thrown Wenger under a bus?

Well Gooners, that was not exactly what we wanted to see from Arsenal today, who I have to say were pretty lucky to come aThe Mirror reports.

Hardly the ringing endorsement of our manager that we have become used to from the club. So the boss would certainly have been hoping for some help from the players that he has helped so much over the years, but that is not how I would describe the performance from the Gunners today.

We did show some fight, as the three yellow cards will testify, but it did not feel like a team pulling together and playing for the manager, it felt like a few individuals desperately trying to stop a rudderless ship from crashing.

Three incidents pointed out by Gary Neville on Sky Sports tell the story clearly. Walcott sulked off when being replaced after a patchy performance at best. Ozil pulled out of a tackle he could well have won against the Man City keeper which could have won us the game. Koscielny apparently chose to come off at half time when he may have been alright to continue.

Add all this up and you have to ask whether the Arsenal team and board just threw Wenger under a bus_
