Have Arsenal used up all margin for error?

We should not forget the fact that before this nightmare week that saw Arsenal lose back to back Premier League games after going on a great run of 14 without loss, Arsene Wenger had steered his side to second place in the EPL table.

Even after the defeats away to Everton and Man City we are only three points worse off than second placed Liverpool. The problem at the minute is that Chelsea have not slipped up or dropped points as the rest of our big rivals have and that makes the table look a bit gloomy from a Gonner’s point of view.

The question is, though, just how gloomy? Have Arsenal really used up all the margin for error we had in the race for the title? You would have to say that, unless or until Antonio Conte’s side do hit a wobble then the Gunners simply must win all of our league games.

Next up for Arsenal in the coming weeks we have West Brom at home, Crystal Palace at home, Bournemouth away, Swansea away, Burnley at home and Watford at home. Those six fixtures are surely must win games for the Gunners so I really feel there is no margin for error in the next month.

After that we will have to see how the table is shaping up and whether we are any closer to the summit. For now it has to be heads down and win.
