Honest Ramsey opens up on Arsenal failings

It is not exactly breaking news to us long suffering Arsenal fans that the team is just not good enough this season. After all it is us that has had to suffer the shock defeat at home to West Ham in the first Premier League game and then stumble and stutter since then.

We are still waiting for the Gunners to find the sort of form that made us the best performing EPL club in the second half of last season and there is a growing feeling that Arsenal are once again going to fall short in the attempt to reclaim the Premier League trophy that we have not had at the Emirates in over a decade.

At least our Welsh international midfielder Aaron Ramsey is good enough to be honest about the team´s recent failings, admitting in an Evening Standard report that the Gunners´ performances and results have just not been up to scratch so far and that the players have got to put it right sooner rather than later, hopefully starting tomorrow when we travel to face Spurs in the league cup.

Ramsey said, “It’s not good enough for a club like Arsenal to lose two games in a row,” he told the club website. “Hopefully now we can put things right on Wednesday. It will be a feisty game with hopefully some goals in our favour.”

Ramsey is one of the many Arsenal stars that has been struggling in front of goal this season and we could badly do with him finding the brilliant scoring success that was so impressive a year or so ago. We know that Arsenal can be a lot better than we have been seeing, but how do Wenger and the players put it right?
