How Walcott WILL make Arsenal a force to be reckoned with!!

How could Walcott’s return to action impact Arsenal’s setup? by SE

They always say, “Great things take time”, which, in Theo Walcott’s case could prove to be true. Arsene Wenger had proclaimed on Thursday that the Englishman would return to training, after the international break culminates but, would be rushed into action. However, as and when Walcott does return to action, how could it affect the way Arsenal are setting up now?

Talking Points on Arsenal’s setup, once Walcott returns:
Walcott is an out-and-out winger who could be deployed as a striker as well. However, with the acquisition of Welbeck, the 25-year old Englishman should continue to operate as a winger, primarily. Once Walcott returns, it could well be Cazorla who makes way for the Englishman. The Spaniard has been a livewire in Arsenal’s scheme of things, during the early periods of the season. But Ozil should fill his void by playing alongside Ramsey in Arsenal’s engine room, with Walcott taking up the German’s temporary position as a Right-Winger.

Walcott, with his pace and propensity to put crosses into the 18-yard box, would be a better bet to play as a Right-Winger than Ozil. Tactically, then, Sanchez can cut in on his right foot, and have a shot on goal when the chance presents itself. But, irrespective of how the Chilean operates on the Left-Wing, Walcott will be expected to hold the byline and swing crosses into the business area, for Welbeck or Sanogo to latch onto. That, subsequently, will enable Arsenal to create more number of chances from the flanks than what they have managed to, so far.
