I am not one of the Arsenal fans who have for years been calling for the club to replace Arsene Wenger as manager and get some new blood in. I really believed that the Frenchman would push on after the financial shackles were lifted and I still feel that he did an amazing job in those seasons after we moved from Highbury to the Emirates, but I have come to accept this season that Arsenal need a change at the top.
Having said that, I still worry about what will happen after he goes, assuming that he does, and there is a very real chance that we could suffer the same sort pf problems that are still going on at Old Trafford since Manchester United lost their own long serving manager.
That very real possibility may be one of the reasons for the Arsenal board being so reluctant to pull the trigger and it is why the search for the right man to replace Wenger is so important. Even a very good manager would struggle, and I believe that both David Moyes and Louis van Gaal were very good managers and look what happened to them.
Arsenal need someone who is not only a good tactician and man manager, with experience of football at the top level, we need someone with the confidence, character and strength of personality to come in and take control. For me there is only one candidate and it is the Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri.
Howe is too young and does not have enough experience. Simeone is too radical a change. Tuchel might do well but is no guarantee. Big names like Ancelotti, for me, would not have the hunger and desire. Do you guys agree that Allegri is the only man for the job? If not who do you want as manager of Arsenal?

Listening to an Italian in the know over there and they were saying, tactically, Allegri is head and shoulders above the rest in Italy, and even better with tactics than Conte. They said tactics is what sets him apart, whereas with Conte it’s motivating his players. They said Conte is good with tactics and Allegri is good at motivation, all the same, but that’s the way they see it.
Allegri might be able to do the job but so does Simione. We need hunger, drive and passion for Christ’s sake. Diego is my first choice, I do not see anything radical about him replacing the old man
Please stop comparing Wenger to Ferguson, there’s no comparison other than longevity. There’s loads of managers out there better than what we have, so I don’t think it’s much of a worry. Simeone all day for me.
Fergie, Allardyce, Mourinho, Henry, Arteta and Danny Cowley are other options.
Allegri is a good coach but doesn’t have what Arsenal needs most n lacks most under Wenger (since Viera left)…. Doggedness,Resilience, Passion,Never say Die spirit, Determination.

I want Diego Simeone! His fire and passion is second to none and the way he has turned atletico into a very solid machine that rarely concedes goals is what I want for us.
Yeah, I reckon Allegri is the top choice. He had one heck of an act to follow out there and he rose to the occasion. Before Juve he won the title with cups at Milan also. He takes no s**t, that would be refreshing. Bonucci tried telling him which substitute he should be making instead, Allegri showed him who was boss. Bonnuci is a very big deal over there, so that was a dangerous and bold move. They say winning a title is extremely difficult, but repeating it consecutively is even more difficult. We find it difficult tapping into that Italian market, this could be a bonus. I like what I hear on the tactics front most of all, and I like that his team play nice football, but appreciate the art of defending. Allegri Allegri Allegri, I think we might get a chant from this name.
