Is this £20M target good enough to replace Alexis Sanchez?

Arsenal are tipped to sign Hirving Lozano to replace Alexis Sanchez this January.

The Mexican winger has been impressing since his move to Europe with PSV Eindhoven, scoring six in six appearances for his new club, as well as setting the club record having scored in each of his first three outings.

The 22 year-old has supposedly been recommended to Arsenal by chief scout Steve Rowley who has been to Holland to watch him in action, and the club are believed to be eyeing an offer for him come the new year.

PSV are said to be likely to agree to a sale in the region of £20 Million, and his arrival would likely open the door to Alexis Sanchez to leave the club this winter.

The Chilean appears set on leaving the club before next season, with his current contract set to end this summer. Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain seem to be the most likely to sign him, although Real Madrid are the latest name to be touted with a strong interest in his signature.

A possible January move would allow the Gunners to receive some sort of financial compensation for their loss, but they refused to allow him to leave for £60 Million on Deadline Day, and seems they would be unwilling to allow him to leave until a replacement is found.

Thomas Lemar was lined up to come in to replace the 29 year-old, but he changed his mind and ended up staying with Monaco, and now we are supposedly eyeing the Mexican international instead.

We will look to keep tabs on Lozano until the new year, when he could well become our latest signing, but we may have competition should he continue to flourish in Holland.

Does Lozano look like he could cover for the loss of Alexis? Could he set the Premier League alight?
