It’s not ALL bad Arsenal – Ramsey ONE week from training!!

Every time anyone with any interest in Arsenal Football Club hears or sees the word injury at the moment, a cold finger of dread creeps up and down your spine, but after the bad news about Mesut Ozil and Laurent Koscielny this week, Arsene Wenger finally had some good injury news for us.

As the Frenchman gave an update on various players in an Arsenal.com report, including the latest on our German midfielder, he revealed that the club’s best player of last season, Aaron Ramsey, is due back in training a week from now. And as Rambo has only been out of action since the north London derby on September 27th, it will not take him long to be ready to play.

Wenger said, “When he arrived with the German national team, they didn’t think it was a lot at the start. He was supposed to practice on Wednesday but, in the end, he said that wasn’t possible for him.

“Then he had a scan and it was bad news. We have our own specialist giving us his opinion after reading the scan and examining Mesut. We will follow our own recommendations.”

“Theo is not too far away now. Serge has been out for a long, long time and Theo has also been out for nine months, so it’s good to see them back. They’ve worked very hard and they’re very dedicated. They are back in the group on a daily basis and that’s very good news.

“For Ramsey it’s day 13 today and I think it will be day 21 before he is back into training. Arteta may be back with the group late next week.”

That really is great news for Arsenal, as is the news that our flying England international Theo Walcott and the dynamic young German winger Serge Gnabry are already back in full training after lengthy spells on the sidelines for both of them. Throw those two into the squad along with the likes of Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez and the Gunners could well be the quickest team in the Premier League.

With a good run of very winnable fixtures just around the corner and these players returning from the treatment room, can Arsenal really get the season going at full speed now?
