It’s virtually impossible for Freddie to change anything right now claims Thierry Henry

Thierry Henry also hails Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s impact and looks forward to Brighton game.

Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry believes that Arsenal would probably be worse off if not for the goals of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. He also believes it is far too early to judge Freddie Ljungberg.

The Gunners have struggled this season and they sit 10th on the league table ahead of their game with Brighton.

They fired Unai Emery last week and made Ljungberg their new manager on an interim basis.

Ljungberg’s first game came just two days after they named him as the team’s manager and Henry believes that he shouldn’t be judged on that one game as he didn’t have enough time to pass his ideas on to the players.

Henry also took out time to hail the impact of Aubameyang who has netted 12 times for the Gunners this season.
Speaking ahead of their match against Brighton, Henry said as per goal.com:

“Well I think what we’ve seen so far, it’s very difficult to change anything in, I think he had one session, or two maybe [ahead of the Canaries clash].

“It’s virtually impossible to change anything. And what we saw is what I’ve seen before.

“[Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang scored two goals and we escaped – when I say ‘we’ you know why.

“But that’s what I saw, you know, without the goals of Aubameyang I don’t know where we would have been right now.

“So it’s interesting to see how we are going to play against Brighton, and see what Freddie is about.

“Because that game [against Norwich] was very difficult to see what was happening really.”

There is a 10-points gap between Arsenal and Chelsea, who are occupying the last Champions League spot and fans will hope they can get back to winning ways against the Seagulls and close that gap.
