Leicester v Arsenal – Strikers sizzle as Gunners win

This game was always likely to be a tricky one for Arsenal, as we are not exactly firing on all cylinders, while Claudio Ranieri has the home team Leicester playing with real verve and pulling up trees in the Premier League.

The game was as fast and furious as we expected right from the kick off, with Arsenal passing the ball well and the Foxes pressing hard and looking to break with pace and numbers. THey got an early breakthrough as well, with Vardy finishing a great counter attack with style.

Arsenal were on the ball today though and Theo Walcott was looking sharp. He got us back into it with a brilliant finish as his pace and movement got him on to a Cazorla through ball five minutes after going behind.

Alexis put us ahead with a tap in after good work down the right from Bellerin. That goal opened the flood gates for the Chilean who completed his hat-trick in the second half with a well taken header from a great set up from Ozil, while the third was all his own work, beating the keeper with a fierce long range drive.

The game was done and dusted when Leicester scored a second but there was still time for Giroud to score a nice fifth after replacing Walcott, so that meant all three strikers had scored and our troubles in front of goal look to be over.

With Man City losing this was a fantastic result and the performance should see us get right back on track.
