‘No easy games any more’ says Wenger

Arsenal are preparing to face West Bromwich Albion tomorrow afternoon, and with the Baggies 12 points below the Gunners in the table we should expect to have an easy run out, but Arsene Wenger has made it clear that there is no room for complacency in any League game this season, especially against a team managed by Tony Pulis.

“I watched them against Man United and they looked a very well organised team which is absolutely – as always with Tony Pulis – fully committed,” Wenger told Arsenal.com.

“On top of that they are in a difficult situation a little bit in the Premier League and you expect what you always expect in the Premier League – a committed, physical, fast game and a game where we cannot afford to make any mistakes.

“I would even say that you don’t even look at the table any more because you know what you get. The difference between the teams has narrowed and today it is more about how much can you be close to your best which will decide the result, more than the team you play against.”

Just how hard this League has become, you only have to look at West Brom’s results. Two of their first 3 games were against Man City and Chelsea and the other was a draw at an improving Watford. Even there last two defeats have been against Leicester and Man United, but in both matches they put up a good fight before succumbing. They won’t have to improve much to give a weakened Gunners team some problems, especially at home.

As Wenger said, we could win,but don’t expect a pushover…
