No Fear! Arsenal must go for it in Swansea

You might think that a bit of a cautious approach might be called for from Arsenal as Arsene Wenger prepares his players for the Premier League game away to Swansea City. After all, we are coming off the back of a heavy defeat away to Sheffield Wednesday and we are in the middle of an injury crisis.

Not only that, but Swansea did the double over Arsenal last season and they Garry monk does not have a single injury to affect his team selection, so perhaps a tight game might suit us better and an away point would be seen as a decent result, yes? No.

The Welsh team have their own problems and have only won once in their last six Premier League games, and that was over Aston Villa who have an even worse recent record. That win may have boosted their confidence but not by much, while Arsenal should not be too badly affected by the Capital One Cup loss.

So we need to be positive and put the cup game firmly to one side. Also, the injury to Theo Walcott means that Olivier Giroud will lead the line and the in form Frenchman is more effective when Arsenal are dominating the ball and pushing forward.

Joel Campbell, if it is the Costa Rican who gets the nod, will be the only Arsenal player who has not been a regular this season so we should not change our approach and worry about our own team, we should go into the game full of confidence and take it to the Swans. Do you agree?
