Official Arsenal team for Newcastle – Ozil OUT Koscielny IN

Did someone recently suggest that Arsenal had waved goodbye to the injury problems that had been causing Arsene Wenger so many problems in the last few years? Well Mesut Ozil is the latest Gunner to have to miss a game this season, due to a knee problem, and it is starting to look like nothing has changed.

Arsenal fans do have some good news on the injury front as well however, and it could be more important than losing our German play maker. Laurent Koscielny has recovered from the back problem which kept him out of the Liverpool game and will be paired with the Brazilian Gabriel at the centre of our defence. Many fans think this could be our best two defenders so it will be interesting to see how well they perform against a Newcastle side with a lot of pace and width up front.

Wenger has made another change as well, which is nothing to do with injuries, bringing Walcott into the centre forward position and dropping Giroud to the bench. With Oxlade-Chamberlain replacing Ozil, the Gunners will also be packed with pace up front, while Cazorla will move forward into the number 10 role with Ramsey taking his place in the middle.

Newecastle have also made three changes; with Sissoko, Thauvin and Janmaat coming in for Obertan, Perez and Taylor, so whose new look team will come away with all three points?
