Official teams and preview of Arsenal v Anderlecht

Arsene Wenger and his Arsenal players have a great chance to qualify for the next round of the Champions League by beating Anderlecht at the Emirates tonight. And confidence in the dressing room will be much higher than the last time we lined up against the Belgians, after that late win and two EPL wins with clean sheets to boot.

But the Frenchman will also be wary after they nearly beat us last time and the fact that they have the players to really hurt us on the counter attack. So I expect that Arsenal will try to dominate cpossession and create chances without being too gung ho.

And the boss has made just one change to the starting XI that won our last two games convincingly, with the fit again Aaron Ramsey coming in to the centre of the pitch instead of Mathieu Flamini. So although that is a positive move, it should not change the shape of the team. Monreal plays in the centre of defence again with Chambers on the right.

Szcesny
Chambers, Mertesacker, Monreal, Gibbs
Ramsey, Arteta, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Cazorl
Alexis, Welbeck

subs: Martinez, Bellerin, Flamini, Rosicky, Podolski, Walcott, Sanogo

So the Gunners have a strong looking bench if we need it and we all hope to see Theo Walcott get some more time on the pitch to sharpen up, but hopefully he will be able to come on with the points already secured.
