Ozil illness to decide whether Arsenal go for win or draw at Liverpool?

It was always going to be a tough test for Arsenal in our next Premier League match, because it is away to Liverpool and we have not got a very good record at Anfield. While a point from any away game against a big EPL rival is a decent result, a win would do our top four challenge the power of good and with Jurgen Klopp under pressure after his faltering Reds lost away to relegation threatened Leicester City on Monday, Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal side might just be looking to pile the pressure on.

It would be great for the Gunners to bring all three points back to north London on Saturday as it would ease some of the recent fans’ frustration and fury while fending off the scousers and Man United to make Arsenal big favourites to qualify once again for the elite club competition which is the Champions League.

We have good reason to go to Anfield in a positive frame of mind as well, especially if their captain and central midfield general Jordan Henderson is still out with injury. Liverpool have had a pretty woeful defensive record over the last few years and Klopp has failed to improve it.

With Lucas playing as a makeshift centre back and with no Henderson to protect the back four I would not be surprised to see Wenger go on the offensive, or I would not have done until seeing Metro report that our German play maker might miss the game after being sent home from training due to illness.

Without Ozil to create chances, control the game and bewilder the defence, would Arsenal be better off with a more solid set-up at Liverpool do you think??
