Ozil to follow Arsenal star Ramsey’s Euro 2016 lead?

Not only did the Arsenal midfield star Aaron Ramsey help his national team Wales to achieve their greatest ever result in beating the top ranked side in the world Belgium to book a place in the semi-finals of Euro 2016, he was also the best player on the pitch and was deservedly awarded to Man of the Match award by Sky Sports and many other football experts.

Two assists on the night and four in the tournament does not even begin to explain what a massive impact the Gunner has had for Chris Coleman’s side in France and I only hope for his sake that Wales can get past Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal without him after picking up a harsh yellow card for handball.

If they do then Ramsey will be back in the team and he could well find himself up against a club team ate or two if Germany or France get there. Just like Ramsey, Arsenal’s attacking midfield star Mesut Ozil has been a major player so far and has already been given at least one Man of the Match award.

Tonight he will be hoping for another fine display as Germany take on the in form Italy managed by the new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and Ozil will need to be at his best to get past the well organised and defensively brilliant Azurri. If anyone can find the key to unlock that stubborn back line, however, it is our king of assists, so good luck Mesut and hopefully you will be joining your Arsenal team mate Ramsey in the Euro 2016 semi finals.
