Please! Could Arsenal land Spurs boss Pochettino?

There is talk on social media linking Claudio Ranieri with a surprise move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer, leading to speculation on the future of current boss Mauricio Pochettino.

You would have to be living under a rock if you hadn’t heard the news that Arsene Wenger is quitting the club after more than two decades in charge, and the Gunners are believed to be actively seeking out his replacement.

There is talk that Massimiliano Allegri is high on our radar, with those reports boosted by the Italian supposedly deciding to manage elsewhere after the campaign.

Further speculation has led to the possibility of Poch moving to the Old Lady, which would free Allegri to join us, but I would much rather we land the Argentine instead, which would bring our noisy neighbours back to reality for a while.

Whether we would be able to prise him away from Tottenham or not is another story, but what a coup that would be.

These stories linking us with the capture of Liverpool’s assistant manager are not filling me with an ounce of hope for a better Arsenal in the near future, and there has to be better and more experienced options available to take over from our long-serving boss?

Would you take Pochettino from Spurs? Would he be the best available option if he was to quit Tottenham?
