Podolski pushing even harder for Arsenal exit

Lukas Podolski is using his time with the German national team to get some proper playing time on the pitch, and also to voice his displeasure at being left on the sidelines with Arsenal. Now that he has been backed up by the Germany manager Joachim Low, Podolski has made it even clearer that he needs to get away from the Emirates.

“I’ve spent the last four months making brief appearances,” he was quoted as aying in the Standard. “I’ve had to wrap myself up warm in my winter coat with my hat and scarf on to watch the others playing.

“I would rather show Arsenal what I am capable if, but this chance to show what I can do is not being given to me.

“I want to play football for many years to come so am I meant just to say everything’s fine and sit my contract out?”

When asked if he may consider a return toGerman, he concluded: “Anything is possible nowadays,”

“You can’t rule anything out.”

Well you can´t get clearer than that, but can anyone see Wenger letting him leave in January?
