Proof the international break will invigorate Giroud and Arsenal?

The Arsenal and France striker Olivier Giroud may have scored two good goals in the FA cup replay against Hull City recently to end his longest ever Arsenal goal drought, but not much else has gone right for the big man, including having what looked a perfectly good goal disallowed against Everton.

Even though Arsenal do have options up front it would be a massive boost for us and our title challenge if the French forward could rediscover the fine form he was in up until this recent drought. And there are very good reasons for us to hope that Giroud will be coming back to Arsenal like a new man.

One is this video posted on social media of Giroud finishing superbly in training for the France national team this week, with a brilliant volley and a divine header among them. Okay it was only in training but there is also a great chance that the Arsenal star will be starting for France against Holland on Friday and getting a chance to show that finishing in a game.

With the Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema left out of this France squad for off the field reasons, Giroud is the most likely to lead the line as their other forwards like Man United’s Martial and Antoine Griezmann usually play as wide forwards.

This will be great for Giroud’s confidence and that in turn should help him to perform and come back to Arsenal ready to give us a major boost for the Premier League run in. What do you think Gooners?
