Pundits give their predictions on the Arsenal v Brighton game

Pundits cast their eyes over Arsenal v Brighton and predict the result.

It is always interesting to hear what the pundits are predicting when Arsenal play. Even if one disagrees with their opinions.

On this occasion, I have to say I cannot disagree with any of the three gentlemen I have highlighted here.

Mark Lawrenson

The former Liverpool defender and BBC columnist is going for an Arsenal win. He predicts that Freddie Ljungberg’s men will run out 2-0 winners. However, his opinion is not so much based on how good Arsenal is but rather how poor Brighton are at scoring goals.

Michael Owen

The former England international, writing for his BetVictor blog, is predicting that both teams will score with Arsenal emerging victorious. As usual, he does not give a score, just the outcome.

Charlie Nicholas

I covered Charlie’s prediction in another article here but for those that have not read it, the former Celtic and Arsenal forward is going for a 3-1 win for Arsenal.

So, a unanimous opinion from all three, Arsenal will win and for two of them, by at least a couple of goals.

It should be noted that most pundits have been getting their Arsenal predictions wrong in recent weeks. In fact, they are not the only ones, I cannot remember the last time I got it right.

For the record, I have gone with a 2-1 win for the lads.

Let me know if you agree or disagree with the pundits in the comments section below.
