Rambo – OF COURSE Arsenal can score three goals!

Just about every single Arsenal player and his dog are giving out positive vibes ahead of tomorrows return leg in Monaco, and I’m sure it is all part of Wenger’s strategy to increase morale and confidence AND it will certainly be worrying Monaco to hear that their opponents are in such a buoyant mood.

The lastest Gunner to speak out is the Welshman Aaron Ramsey, who came back to his old excellent form in our latest win against West Ham. He believes that we can emulate the 3-0 scoreline over the Hammers tomorrow night. “We will go there and try to score three or more goals and hopefully not concede any, that is our target and is how we will approach it,” Ramsey said on SkySports.

“We had a sloppy first leg and we have made it quite difficult for ourselves, but it is not over yet.

“We are more than capable of scoring three goals. We scored three on Saturday and we believe in ourselves.

“So we will go into the game believing we can achieve that.”

Ramsey is confident we can score goals, but Calum Chambers prefers to concentrate on keeping a clean sheet again (well he is a defender!). The youngster has also kept to the postivity emanating from the team. In fact I think that Calum has won the award for the most uses of the word ‘positive’ in his statement!

“Getting a clean sheet is always a positive for us defenders and for the whole team,” Chambers said on the Official Arsenal website. “We knew it would be a tough game because West Ham are a good side but I thought we played well, kept strong and got the goals we needed.

“Aaron Ramsey got himself a goal and he had a great performance. He’s a quality player and let’s hope it keeps going.

“Olivier Giroud is another quality player. He scores lots of goals so it’s always a positive to have goalscorers in the team.

“We’ve got a lot of confidence and we’re building momentum in the league. We’re getting a lot of good results and we’ve just got to keep the positive vibe and keep getting the results we need.”

Surely the whole team must now have joined in the positive statements and have the BELIEF that we can win. All that remains is for them to believe themselves and go out and do it!
