Report – Arsenal ready to name two former Gunners on a temporary basis

Arsenal lining up Freddie Ljungberg and Steve Bould as temporary managers.

Arsenal’s Unai Emery is ever so close to getting the sack and it seems the Gunners won’t have to look too far to get a temporary replacement for the Spaniard.

Emery has failed to lead the Gunners to a win in the Premier League since October.

Their fans had expected them to get all three points when they faced Southampton at the weekend, but the Saints almost got all points before Alexandre Lacazette saved Arsenal’s blushes with a late equalizer.

The recent result has seen more fans call for the sacking of Emery and it seems his end is nearer than ever.

Among the media outlets reporting this news, The Express claims that Arsenal has already lined up Freddie Ljungberg and Steve Bould as their temporary manager, while they sort out their new managerial appointment.

Ljungberg was an Arsenal player not so long ago and he would understand what it means to play for the shirt.

He also won several trophies under Arsene Wenger and probably can return the club to the good old days.

The Swede has been helping the team to integrate youngsters from the academy into the first team. A good spell as temporary managers could see them land the job permanently.
