Should Arsenal be wary of Hull threat this weekend?

Hull travel down to the Emirates this weekend to take on our beloved Arsenal in fine form, but do we need to take precautions?

The Tigers have lost only once in the league under new manager Marco Silva, and that was against runaway Premier League champions Chelsea, whilst being able to boast of wins over Liverpool and Bournemouth, as well as a draw at Old Trafford and a 2-1 League Cup second-leg win over Manchester United to boost.

The Portuguese boss has certainly got a big rise from his players who had looked destined to disappear into the Championship, but now look like they have pulled off a coup and could well secure themselves an extended stay in the Premier League.

Arsenal on the other hand have lost both their last two matches, against Watford and Chelsea, and will now NEED a win to break the form, and this would have been the ideal fixture only five weeks ago.

We have all but ruled ourselves out of the title race following our dismal display at Stamford Bridge this weekend which allowed our rivals to move to 12 points clear of us, and we (for now) have to concentrate on building our own form to assure ourselves of Champions League football, and should the Blues begin to drop points, we must be within touching distance of them when push comes to shove.

This weekend will need to be a return to winning ways, but Silva’s side will certainly have other ideas.

Hull have looked extremely organised in recent weeks, highlighted by their refusal to allow Man United or Liverpool even a single goal in their last two fixtures, and we most certainly need to be aware of their strengths.

It’s all well and good believing that us as the better side simply need to play our regular football and the goals will come, but denying the Red Devils at home in any shape or form is an eye-opener.

Do Hull deserve our respect this weekend? Should we simply be concentrating on our own play or do Hull have enough to cause us trouble on Saturday?
