Should Arsenal go for Justin Kluivert after Dutch star rejects Tottenham?

Arsenal are in great need of a revamp of the team after our worst season in Arsene wenger’s 22 years at the club. Ivan Gazidis didn’t bring in Sven Mislintat and Raul Sanllehi to sit around playing cards so we can expect them to be trying hard to prove their worth by bringing in some top quality players to get us backup into the top echelons of English football.

One big up-and-coming young star that has suddenly come on the market is the Ajax winger Justin Kluivert, son of the famous Patrick, and the 19 year-old had every intention of staying at his boyhood club for a few more years but he has now become very disillusioned with the way the club is being run, and he is very upset that Ajax tried to sell him to Tottenham!

“I’m not renewing my contract at Ajax. Too much has happened,” Kluivert told Dutch outlet Volkstrant. “The decreasing morale, lack of confidence, trying to sell me to Tottenham without me knowing.

“I heard about that at the last minute. That says nothing about Ajax, but about the people in the club.

“They do what they want. I get that feeling again, they do what they want.”

This seems like the perfect opportunity to grab the rising star, who despite his young age has made 56 senior appearances for the Dutch giants, scoring 13 goals and making 10 assists. He has also made his debut for the Dutch national side. If he has only half the talent of his father he is nailed on to be a top star of the future and would be a great investment for the Gunners.

We are definitely lacking in true wingers and he could quickly become a great asset to the club, especially if Arsenal could persuade Denis Bergkamp to join our coaching staff as our legend had a big hand in bringing him through the ranks at Ajax.
