Should Arsenal grab this brilliant Man United outcast?

Arsenal are fully expected to lose many players in January and the summer, including such big names as Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, and maybe our former young superstar Jack Wilshere, and there will also be some old players retiring and some more entering the last year of their contracts that could force Arsene Wenger to sell them on.

So it looks like we are going to be in desperate need of some new faces, and one star that we were very heavily linked with was the Armenian winger Henrikh Mkhitaryan before he opted to join Man United in the summer before last.

But now he has been frozen out by Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford and has only made one substitute appearance in the League Cup defeat by Bristol City this week after being dropped for the last 8 matches. Now it is being reported that the Gunners are keen on taking the 28 year-old from United and I think he could be the perfect replacement for Alexis Sanchez who obviously doesn’t want to play for us any more.

Some will say that we don’t want a Man United reject, but Mourinho has history of getting rid of top class players when he doesn’t like them, like Lukaku, De Bruyne and Salah to name just a few.

Before joining United, Henrikh was the assist king of the Bundesliga with Dortmund and was even voted the  Bundesliga Players’ Player of the Season, so he is far from being a slouch.

If Mourinho wants to get rid of him then I don’t see why we shouldn’t take him. What do you think?
