Should Arsenal rest Ozil and Ramsey for FA cup clash with Hull?

I think it is important for Arsenal to play as strong a team as possible in Hull on Tuesday night because a good win is just what we need to carry on from the battling draw at White Hart Lane yesterday. And we could really do without extra time and penalties with an already congested fixture schedule so if possible we want to get the job done in 90 minutes.

In that case you might think that it is strange for me to suggest resting Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil, especially after the Welshman scored a great goal against the spuds and Ozil has been easily our best player of the season so far. However, I do not think that resting them on Tuesday will necessarily weaken us, because both players are looking a bit jaded to me.

Against Hull City on their own turf I think that energy could be just as important as technical quality, so playing Alex Iwobi and Mohamed Elneny instead of Rambo and Ozil could be the right move as both are fresh, fast and hard working. Coquelin will be banned of course so Flamini can come in and so the extra defensive strength of Elneny could be important, whereas Ramsey tends to be a bit over adventurous at times.

Do you think that Arsenal should rest these two big players against the Tigers?
