Should Arsenal sell Aaron Ramsey to one of our biggest rivals?

It looks like there is a going to be a big shake-up to the Arsenal squad this summer after Arsene Wenger’s departure so we can expect to see quite a few of Wenger’s favourite players moving on to make room for new arrivals.

We all know Jack Wilshere is still undecided on whether to stay or go, but the biggest player we have to worry about leaving is the Welshman Aaron Ramsey, who is entering the final year of his contract at the Emirates, and he would certainly command a large transfer fee after a very impressive season for us.

I am pretty certain that Ramsey is very loyal to Arsenal, but right now the fact is that he is more likely to win trophies if he joined one of our bigger rivals and he would probably get a larger wage packet as well.

According to the bookies, Liverpool are the club most likely to sign Ramsey and they are priced at 2/1 with the FA Cup winners Chelsea second favourites at 4/1. Man United are right behind at 5/1 and Champions Man City are listed at 9/1, although I doubt that they need any more top midfielders…

Wenger was always adamant that he wouldn’t strengthen a rival again after Man United got Robin van Persie all those years ago, but this season Alexis Sanchez went to Man United and Oxlade-Chamberlain went to Liverpool, so it looks like that policy has gone out the window.

Should Arsenal offer Ramsey sky-high wages to stay or should we let him join a rival?
