Should Arsenal swap Wenger favourite for Juventus star?

Arsenal have been linked with a move to sign Miralem Pjanic from Juventus, while Aaron Ramsey is being touted as a possibility to go the other way.

The Gunners have suffered without the creative spark of Santi Cazorla dictating play from the midfield following his absence through injury, and the club have been on the lookout for a future replacement.

The Spaniard is out of contract at the end of the season, and having turned 32 last month his injury problems over the past couple of seasons are hard to overlook.

We are now believed to be eyeing the potential signing of Pjanic from Juventus, who could well prove to be a shrewd replacement for our ageing star.

I know a number of you are hoping that our boy Jack Wilshere can return from his loan spell and build on his great season away, but I’m holding no reservations that he can remain fit for the remainder of the season, let alone have to trust in him to stay strong and well when he returns to play the Arsenal way.

Following our reported interest in Pjanic however, the Italian giants are claimed to have lodged their own interest in signing one of our stars, and I’m torn how I feel about that.

Aaron Ramsey is the man supposedly on their wishlist, and as much as I love the Welshman, he has so far failed to earn a regular starting role for our first-team, nor am I certain where his best role even is within our side.

His ability alone is what keeps him in and around our side, but he doesn’t seem to fit in our side the majority of the time, and it is frustrating not to be getting the best out of such a talented individual.

Would you let Ramsey go in order to bring in Pjanic?
