Signs are good that Arsenal will field their strongest attack on Saturday

Saturday could be the day that we finally get to see the formidable line-up of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Nicolas Pepe and Alexandre Lacazette all in action for Arsenal.

All three are fit and it is now totally up to Unai Emery if he decides to start the trio against Burnley.

There are still some outstanding injury issues, most notably in defence with Kieran Tierney, Rob Holding and Dinos Mavropanos all out until October but Arsenal is getting closer and closer to being able to field their strongest team.

We also know that Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac have been back in training, though I find it doubtful that they will be risked in Saturday’s game.

Emery is going to have some decisions to make, does he start with David Luiz and change a defence that kept a clean sheet last week? Does he bring back Lucas Torreira? What about Dani Ceballos, does he go with the midfielder from the start as well? And what about the youngsters Joe Willock and Reiss Nelson?

The announcement of the official team line-up on Saturday, usually released one hour before kick-off, will be one of the most eagerly awaited in a very long time. Well, since the Europea League final.
