So far so VERY good for Arsenal’s internationals! 10 down 4 to go!

I hope I am not speaking too soon here, but so far this international break has held nothing but good news for Arsenal and the Gunners involved for their various countries. 10 of the 14 games involving Arsenal stars have now been played and tonight will see three more before Alexis Sanchez and Chile complete the fixtures with a home game against Uruguay tomorrow night.

Tonight sees six Gunners in the England squad to face Scotland, while Santi Cazorla and Lukas Podolski could be on opposite sides as Spain take on Germany in a friendly. And Wojciech Szczesny is likely to start for Poland in Georgia, but as long as all our stars get through these final games in one piece it will have been a great break for us.

Players like Podolski, Joel Campbell and Tomas Rosicky that have not played much club football this season have had valuable time on the pitch, while Aaron Ramsey had a very good and morale boosting 90 minutes in Wales’ great draw in Belgium.

Our main strikers Alexis and Welbeck have both scored, while Sanogo bagged himself another brace for the France under 21 side, while young Jack was named Man of the Match for England and Gibbs did really well to show he could challenge Baines for the starting line up.

So far so good for Arsenal then and if Walcott can get some time on the pitch in Scotland tonight and maybe even a goal, we could not ask for a better international break.
