Forget your protests- Wenger is definitely not leaving Arsenal

There have been thousands of articles and column inches, (including quite a few on JustArsenal!) about Arsene Wenger not signing his latest Arsenal contract extension and possibly standing down at the end of the season, but it seems like all the protests and newsprint has all been in vain.

There has been much made of the players that haven’t signed contract extensions as well as our academy coaches leaving, and there was also another rumour that our reserve team coach Boro Primorac was also set to leave this summer. Wenger declared that to be “fake news”, and now Primorac himself has been quoted in the Crioatian press as declaring Wenger leaving as “fake news” as well!

He said quite categorically: “Wenger isn’t considering leaving Arsenal.

“Of course it is ugly to lose 5-1 twice in the Champions League, even though it came versus Bayern.

“We understand how fans are not happy, neither are we. But as for critics, there are no less grateful persons in football than fans and ex-players.

“Arsenal’s strength in the past 20 years has been Wenger. It is not all about results, but also business part of the club that matters.”

Well if anyone should know the truth it would be Boro, who has worked with Wenger since three years before he even came to Arsenal, so probably knows Le Prof better than anyone else in the world.

So now can we get back to supporting the team in their fight for the FA Cup and our Top Four trophy, and forget about the protests until Wenger’s next contract finishes?
