There is little doubt that Arsenal are the team in form as we prepare for the latest installation of the local rivalry between us and Tottenham, who may have started the current season well, but have gone off the rails a bit in recent weeks.
In fact the north London derby on Sunday will be exactly five weeks since the spuds last tasted victory in any competition, having been knocked out of the EFL cup, losing and drawing in the Champions League and being held three times in the Premier League.
The only thing keeping them from doing a lot worse has been their defensive solidity. With just five goals conceded they have easily the best record in the league so far but that has started to unravel as well and they could have been hit for loads in the shambolic European defeat this week.
So I would not be surprised if Pochettino and his players were having nightmares about facing the Arsenal attack this weekend and the stats reported by Metro suggest they would be right to do so.
The statistical report shows that in three key areas the Gunners are doing better this season than in the previous four campaigns. We are completing more passes per game (499) which shows just how fluent our football is right now, but it is at the sharp end where games are won, so that fact that we are scoring more goals per game (2.3) with the highest conversion rate (15%) tells you that Tottenham are in trouble.
The question is, will Arsenal keep up this level of attacking performance in the derby?
