Super-agent Raiola excited by 17 year-old Arsenal youngster

Mino Raiola has come out in the press to praise his client Donyell Malen, who is currently trying to work his way through the ranks at Arsenal.

The agent helped to seal the Dutch youngster’s move from Ajax last year, and has now revealed his excitement in the future of Malen, who is currently playing for Arsenal Under-23 development side.

The 17 year-old came off the bench in yesterday’s devastating 5-0 loss at home to Everton U23, and was unable to change the game as his side continued to fall further behind after entering the field with the score at 2-0.

Malen will have reason to be happy today despite the loss however, after the huge praise received by super-agent Mino Raiola.

Raiola said:  “Gianluigi Donnarumma is in the national team at 17 so he will continue to get better with Italy and AC Milan, Moise Kean is doing well at Juventus but one who I am excited about is already with a Premier League club and that is Donyell Malen at Arsenal.

“He is a very talented young Dutch player with lots of ability, he is at a very good club with a great manager and I think he can be a revelation.”

This can be taking with huge sentiment, given the amount of talent that he represents, including the world’s most expensive player Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Romelu Lukaku and Henrikh Mkhitaryan just to name a few.

Malen will certainly be one to look out for in the coming seasons, and will hopefully live up to the potential he quite clearly possesses in the near future.

The striker has scored 14 goals in the reserves and Under-18s in his debut year with the club.

Could Malen follow Alex Iwobi into the first-team? Could he be the superstar striker we have lacked since Henry and Van Persie left?
