Szczesny’s move to Juventus looks like it’s a done deal?

There have been many many Arsenal rumours regarding our two classy keepers that have no chance of supplanting Petr Cech from his Number One spot at the moment, with David Ospina being expected to go to Fenerbahce, while Wojciech Szczesny was closely linked with Napoli until Juventus supposedly stepped in with an offer.

Szczesny’s agent David Manasseh has stuck to protocol by saying that the Pole needs to talk to Arsene Wenger before any decision could be made, which is only right as Chez still has two years to run on his contract with the Gunners. “There is still no agreement with Juventus,” Manasseh was quoted as saying.

“Szczesny has yet to talk with Wenger, who has been confirmed as Arsenal coach for the next two years.”

But now the Roma defender Juan Jesus has given a long and detailed interview with a radio station in his native Brazil, and at one point he was asked about his fellow Brazilian Allison, who was backup keeper to Szczesny in the last campaign, and this is what he declared: “Alisson? He’s fine, unfortunately he’s not played much, only in the Coppa Italia and in the Europa League, but I think he’ll be a starter next season because Szczesny thinks he’s going to Juve.”

So, that sounds pretty conclusive. I am sure Szczesny’s agent wouldn’t have been presumptive enough to be talking to other Italian clubs unless he had been given the all-clear by Wenger. When Le Prof admitted that he had to reduce his ‘heavy’ squad I am sure that he intends to get in as many funds as possible from sales to top up his warchest.

Does that sound like Szczesny to Juventus is a done deal?
