Barcelona unhappy after missing out on Gabriel Martinelli – Arsenal fans loving it.
Generally speaking, it is Barcelona that takes the best talent from Arsenal but not this time around.
Fabregas, Henry, Petit, Hleb, Overmars, van Bronckhorst to name just a few that have departed Arsenal for sunny Catalan.
However, not Gabriel Martinelli. They had their chance to sign the young sensation but blew it and now they are full of regret reports Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.
It appears that the 18-year-old had trials with the Spanish giants but they were not persuaded to sign him.
Arsenal saw what a hot prospect the teenager was and promptly moved in. They were not going to make the same mistake as the Spanish champions, much to the chagrin of the Barca board now claims the report.
