The stats that point to an Arsenal win over Everton

Everton fans will no doubt point to the fact that we have not kept a clean sheet away from home in the Premier League this season but in all honesty, that is about it for them in terms of positive statistics.

If Everton has a bogey team it is surely us and here is why.

Arsenal have beaten Everton in seven of the last eight Premier League they have played

Over the last four games between Arsenal and Everton, Arsenal has won all four.

Arsenal have beaten Everton more times than any other club has beaten another club in English football, a whopping 97 times.

Arsenal hold the record for the highest number of goals against an opponent in the Premier League and you guessed it, against Everton, 107 goals no less.

Though Everton beat Chelsea last time out at Goodison it should be noted that that was their first win against a top six opponent in 25 games.

Now onto the players….

Aaron Ramsey just loves playing Everton, over the last five games against them he has scored six goals and had three assists, and he has more goals and assists against them than any other Premier League side he has faced.

And finally, Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have scored in both of their previous Premier League appearances against Everton.

Conclusion

Statistics do not win games but they are a damn good indicator, and even with our record of conceding in away games this season I would rather that statistic than the record that Everton have against us.
