Tottenham v Arsenal Match Preview, Line-up and Score Prediction

Arsenal make the shortest of trips across North London to take on big rivals Spurs with both sides scrapping for points.

Tottenham are currently in a two-horse race to win the Premier League this season, sitting only four points behind fellow London rivals Chelsea, with only five matches remaining. Arsenal on the other hand are in a four-way battle to cement their place in the top-four, and currently sit five points behind Man City in fourth.

Today’s match will be the last of it’s kind in White Hart Lane, with Tottenham set to move into Wembley next term while their new home is being completed on the same land as the previous arena.

We don’t come into the match on favourable terms, with much the worst form, and with many of our fans against us and the manager, but after three consecutive wins, we will have built up some confidence ahead of the big game.

We are awaiting news on whether Laurent Koscielny will be deemed fit enough to feature, and without him we could be in for serious trouble. We are already without Shkodran Mustafi in defence. Santi the Cazorla, David Ospina, Lucas Perez and Reine-Adelaide are also missing with injury.

Predicted XI:

Cech
Gabriel  Holding  Koscielny/Monreal
Ox  Xhaka  Elneny  Gibbs
Ozil  Alexis
Giroud

Despite Tottenham’s eight-match winning streak in the Premier League, they took a painful blow in being eliminated from the FA Cup last weekend, and I think we can take advantage of that.

I don’t think I’m being biased in thinking we have a great chance of hurting our noisy neighbours today, and if Koscielny does make it, I even feel a win coming.

I’m going for a 2-1 win for our boys, but without Kosc it could easily be 2-2.  Alexis will get us up and running in the first-half, but I feel Harry Kane will be adding to his tally of goals in derby matches…
